Yes it’s fashionable and on trend but do you know why? Because it’s lovely, that’s why. And wait until you see what it does on black paper, if you’re into that sort of thing. Pure gold, baby! On white paper -  serene, elegant, pretty. Add some of it to punch up florals and add a little shimmer to your work. Mix it with other colours to really make them truly unique. It likes mixing things up.
