Tourist in my own city - Canary District

I've been wanting to check out this area for years now. It was a construction site for so long and then off limits while the Pan AM Parapan Am games were on last year. The buildings housed the athletes while they were here competing and training. Now it has been turned over for condo use. This is a really interesting new neighbourhood with a lot of thought put into its urban planning. Right from the start they built parks and planted trees. That is always a good sign. There are also many public art installations and loads of bike racks, tracks laid for future streetcars, a YMCA and loads of shops planned. It is really going to be a great and vibrant neighbourhood soon. I wouldn't mind living here!
