Perfect roadtrip
I still love getting in a car and taking off. One of my favourite places to drive to is Prince Edward County. We have all of the rituals now of packing some things for a picnic and picking up more in Brighton, driving the back road from Newcastle along the lake, stopping to look at the field that is lined with glads and hollyhocks, finding a spot for said picnic (see field shot) and visiting wineries including some new ones like Traynor, Broken Stone and Trail Estate winery. Ontario, and in particular this section of it, is producing some stunning wines.
